- I have had better luck after I changed the S registers on my Zoom
- 14.4kbs (Hayes compatible) modem. Previous settings were register
- S9=006 and register S10=014. I changed the S10 register to 007 (note
- that S10 value should always be greater than S9 if you want the modem
- to disconnect). With these settings I find that most calls come
- through although I do get a few complaints that "your phone was
- ringing and ringing".
